Meet the Founder
Mariam Decoco is an experienced event strategist whose work spans weddings, corporate functions, and large-scale volunteer events since 2016. Drawing on her leadership in coordinating professional and non-profit programs from 2019 to date, she has guided Events by May's natural expansion into the corporate events space.
Her event leadership experience includes serving on the WIMBIZ Annual Conference Central Planning Group (2024) as part of the Logistics Sub-Committee, supporting FATE Foundation's corporate events between 2019 and 2023, and playing a strategic planning and coordination role in the 1-Ummah Peace and Unity Convention (2022–present), where she contributes to event structure, programming, and seamless delivery.
Known for her refined eye for design and results-driven approach, Mariam leads with a focus on client experience, collaboration, and excellence in every detail. Her vision continues to shape Events by May's standard for seamless, high-impact event delivery.
